In my last post, I said that heels aren't entirely realistic for me to wear to work due to lack of comfort. Well, I take it back. I just have to wear the right ones. These shoes are some of my favourites, especially for a professional chic look in spring and summer. The chunky heel makes them very sturdy and the thick ankle strap -- with Velcro, might I add -- gives extra support where I need it most. I'm always attracted to animal prints and the snakeskin pattern on the toe strap gives them the perfect touch of edginess. Another great thing about these heels is that I can drive in them easily (yes, that's a selling point!). I'll usually change into flats if I'm wearing shoes that are difficult to drive in.
When I got these classics, I was actually on the hunt for something else. I heard there was a great shoe sale going on, so I went to check it out. I should have known better. Sale shoes NEVER fit me -- and all the nice ones were gone. But I was already in the mall, so I decided to scour some other stores for their shoe sales. Of course, the ones I fell in love with weren't on sale. I got lucky, though. They became a little present from my mom. Thanks, mom! <3
