Shoe shopping this week definitely had its ups and downs. Yes, I got a couple pairs that I love (sadly, both at full price even though we're in sale season #salefail). I'll tell you, though, that there were a lot more pairs I couldn't get because -- surprise, surprise -- they didn't fit or just didn't exist in a Size 5. But I thought I'd tell you about them anyway, and maybe you'll be lucky enough to find them in your size. So here goes:
STRAPPY PLATFORM WEDGE (MUSTARD)
Zara
I've always loved Zara's shoes, but their smallest size is a 6. At least that's the smallest I've ever seen there. However, rumour has it they have a collection called Special for Asia that's specially designed for those with small feet. My bestie sent me a photo a few weeks ago with proof. She took a picture of the tag with the collection name, but I haven't seen it since. Makes me think there might have been a shipment error. Maybe they should be making errors more often!

WEINERT (BLACK LEATHER)
Shelly's London @ Hudson's Bay
These were the most comfortable and adorable shoes, especially on! I was so excited that there was a Size 5 in store, but that Size 5 was like the average Size 8. In other words, they didn't fit. Sad story. On a happier note, I did get another pair of Shelly's that day (coming to the blog soon!). I couldn't take advantage of the Buy 1, Get 1 50% Off sale though. Oh well.

PARRAMORE (GOLD)
ALDO Shoes
Okay, so cute, right? Well, the smallest size is a 6...again. Sigh. This would have been the casual shoe I lived in this summer. These sandles have the potential to go with just about any summery outfit a girl could put together. And metallics are so in right now. I'm super jealous of anyone who has these.

ADORA (OLIVE CAMO)
Sam Edelman @ Town Shoes
I guess I have a thing for casual shoes this summer. I'm in comfy mode. I don't have any clothing or accessories in army print, but I'm so drawn to it. When I saw these on the shelf, I tried on the display shoe immediately. There was no Size 5 in store, so I got them ordered. The next day, I received an apologetic voicemail saying that they couldn't find the shoe. Upon more research, it doesn't look like these come in a Size 5 at all. Shame.
