These shoes actually saved my feet from what could have been the worst cuts and blisters I've ever had. Here's why: One day last spring, I wore a brand new pair of flats to work. In store, they seemed to fit, but in reality, they were way too small. (I know, right? That was definitely a first.) I tried placing bandages on the backs of my heels and below my ankles to prevent the uncomfortable rubbing, but I was still in so much pain by the time lunch came around. So I ran -- and by ran I mean limped -- to the nearest shoe store out of desperation.
The original plan was to buy a cheap pair of flip flops just to get me through the rest of the day. But as soon as I saw these and learned that a Size 5 was still in stock, I just couldn't resist. In these platforms, I feel like I'm walking on a cloud. In fact, they almost feel bouncy they're so light and comfy. They barely have any incline, so there's never any pressure on the balls of my feet, and they give me a little extra height when I feel like being more than five feet tall. Not to mention their awesome black-and-white zig-zag motif that adds some funk to any outfit. Great for everything from work to weddings, I'm so glad these happened by accident!
