Last summer, I desperately needed a pair of shoes to wear to my best friend's wedding. I already had my dress and I knew exactly what I wanted -- white strappy sandles with a chunky heel (the ceremony was outdoors, so stilettos were not an option). With all this criteria, though, I really didn't think it would be possible to find my ideal shoe. I shopped around for awhile and found a pair I liked online, but when I visited the store, they (not surprisingly) didn't have my size.
After a fairly exhausting search, the bride, Barbara, of Barbara Ann Style Blog, promised me I'd find a pair at Hudson's Bay on Queen St. She had found her wedding shoes there just a few weeks before. I don't know why I waited so long to go. I actually couldn't decide between two pairs. Yes, two. Needless to say, I walked away with the pair you see here. Super comfortable with the perfect heel thickness and super versatile. They go with just about everything and I wear them to work regularly. A great find, thanks to my bestie.
